Our Service Delivery

Initial No Obligation Discussion – we will discuss your child and any issues/concerns you may have. We can provide further information about ABA and how Keys for Learning may be able to help.

Initial Assessment – we will visit you at your home and assess your child (approx 2 hours). This includes talking to you and also spending some time with your child. We use the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) to assess your child's current skills and design their individualised learning programme.

Programme/intervention designed – we will design a tailored programme and/or behaviour intervention plan to suit the needs of your child.

Training – We will provide a hands-on and a theory workshop to teach you how to implement your child’s programme and to help you understand the underlying principles of ABA. This can take anything from half a day to a whole day depending on your needs.

Follow up workshops – for further training and programme amendments. It is vital that we can review your child’s progress to ensure that as they develop we can introduce new programmes. Follow up workshops also provide an opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns the team may have, and implement potential solutions. Workshops normally last between 2- 3 hours and are scheduled monthly (varies according to your need).

Nursery/School visits – We are available to visit your child's nursery/school to provide advice and recommendations for their learning objectives or their Individualised Educational Plan (IEP). Our most successful programmes are those that the school/nursery incorporate similar targets from the home programme and use similar teaching strategies. We value working alongside other professionals to maximise the effectiveness of your child’s programme.
