At Keys for Learning we specialise in working with children with autism and related difficulties. Our aim is to unlock your child’s potential through specialised home intervention therapy.
We design and help you deliver individually tailored programmes that target your child’s greatest needs. Our programmes are based on principles and procedures derived from ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis), scientifically the most effective approach for tackling a wide range of behavioural issues and specifically autism symptoms. We can help you manage difficult behaviours and/or teach skills that are underdeveloped.
ABA programmes can be used to:
- Teach new skills (e.g. play skills, academics, communication, social skills and adaptive living skills).
- Reduce inappropriate behaviours (e.g. self injury or stereotypy).
- Generalise behaviour from one setting to another (e.g. from communicating with therapists and family in the home to interacting with peers at school).
Through continuous monitoring and regular assessments we can ensure that as your child progresses, our ABA programmes are adapted and developed according to their needs. Working closely with you and other professionals, we strive to maximise your child’s learning potential by designing programmes that are fun, flexible and most importantly child-orientated.
